Rob Pfeiffer

Rob Pfeiffer, a Maine Registered Counselor, has been counseling, teaching, and coaching in colleges, universities, and high schools in New England for over 30 years.  In his private counseling practice in Hope and Camden, Maine, he specializes in relationship work with adults, adolescents, and couples. Rob is committed to supporting men in their evolution towards wholeness.

His college teaching and coaching at UNH, Middlebury, and Colby and his high school guidance counseling experience also equip him to work as a college consultant with students and families in need of support during the college application process.

He is a trained Project Adventure® leader and has worked with people of all ages on ropes courses and other cooperative games.  His work with groups helps to promote communication, decision-making, and skill-building through unique individual and team challenges. He is available as a consultant to lead groups and organizations through the terrain of adventure-based learning.  Rob and his partner, Julianna, have started using Project Adventure challenges with couples during workshops, retreats, and intensives.

As a Vietnam veteran, Rob is available to speak to groups about issues concerning war and violence in our culture.  He also periodically runs support and therapy groups for men and veterans returning from the Iraq war.

Teachers and mentors in his life have included relationship specialists Dr.’s. Katie and Gay Hendricks.  He is also inspired by the work of Terrence Real on men, depression and relationship.
